beautiful may weekend

the weather couldn’t possibly be much more wonderful than it is today. i haven’t yet looked that a thermometer but it must be nearing 60 degrees which for the North Shore is rather toasty. the sun is shining with hardly a cloud in the sky. the Grand Marais Jazz Festival is just beginning, there are countless numbers of fantastic musicians playing the next two nights. i am looking forward to dropping in on some.

We, the Lutsen Lodging Company, are a small friendly resort located on the North Shore of Minnesota. For those of you who do not know where were are in the world, we are in what could be called ‘God’s Country’ – land of big skies, acres of forested wilderness, with lakes and rivers galore! If you have not yet familiarized yourself with the tip of the Arrowhead, it is time. It is a magical place on the brink of civilization, a community filled with a passion for the Arts and Outdoors.
